I would like everyone to know how my dealings with Bayda Law went. After searching the internet for someone to help me with my CPP disability, I found Mr. Bayda (Bayda Law Firm) and within a few minutes of talking to Allan I knew I had found the right person to help me. I went up to Calgary for a meeting and took along all the correspondence I had received in the last two years. They went through everything, and then decided on a plan of action. A few years ago, I was unable to continue my employment after becoming ill with depression and anxiety issues. My insurer refused to grant me long term disability benefits, so I would be able to recover and hopefully return to work. I was given an ultimatum by my employer and I was basically forced to retire even though there was more than adequate medical evidence to support my cause. As I had no other means to challenge this unfair procedure I called upon Allan Bayda’s law firm in Calgary to assist me with my problem . After a phone interview, Allan made arrangements to meet me in person and took on my case on a contingency basis. The law suit took time but in the end was worth the effort.
The matter was settled out of court for a substantial amount of money. I am grateful for the help I received from Allan and his staff and I would recommend him if you are in a similar situation. There is unfortunately still a stigma and prejudice against persons suffering with mental health issues. Don’t give up. If you need a good lawyer who will understand your special needs, give Allan a call.

I opted to engage Alan and his team to work for me at a time when my health permitted very little from me and they took charge of the situation in way that allowed me to focus on what I needed to – my own health. Allan already knew what I was going through and how it was affected my life on a daily basis which alleviated a lot of my anxiety and stress about the process.
